1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and AI Detector ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the aidetector.us.com website and AI content detection service (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AI Detector provides an AI content detection service that analyzes text to identify potential AI-generated content. The Service uses proprietary algorithms to evaluate text patterns and provide a probability assessment of whether content may have been generated by artificial intelligence.

Important: The Service provides probability assessments and analysis results for informational purposes only. Results should not be considered definitive proof that content is or is not AI-generated. Users should exercise their own judgment when interpreting results.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Subscription Options

The Service offers the following subscription options:

  • Monthly Subscription: Recurring monthly payment providing access to premium features for the subscription period
  • Lifetime Access: One-time payment providing permanent access to premium features (available as a limited-time offer)

4.2 Billing and Payment

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees. For monthly subscriptions:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for renewal fees
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

4.3 Lifetime Access Terms

Lifetime Access purchases are subject to the following terms:

  • "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Service, not the lifetime of the user
  • Lifetime Access includes features available at the time of purchase and reasonable updates
  • We reserve the right to discontinue or substantially modify the Service with 90 days' notice
  • Lifetime Access is non-transferable and limited to a single user account
  • This offer may be discontinued at any time for new purchases

4.4 Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months.

Lifetime Access: Due to the nature of digital products, Lifetime Access purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or algorithms
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service for harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose
  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, functionality, and underlying technology are owned by AI Detector and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our algorithms, detection methods, and proprietary technology are trade secrets.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any text you submit to the Service for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not store or retain the text you submit.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of the Service will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

AI detection technology has inherent limitations. No AI detection system can guarantee 100% accuracy. Results should be used as one factor among many when evaluating content authenticity. We expressly disclaim any liability for decisions made based on detection results.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AI DETECTOR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Damages resulting from any content or conduct of any third party
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other damages arising from your use of the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Detector and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and any associated data
  • For monthly subscriptions, no refund will be provided for the current billing period
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature (if available).

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use the Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. The waiver of any such right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by a duly authorized representative of AI Detector.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AI Detector regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and AI Detector.
